Competitive Irish Dance

Prairie North Dance participates in local dance competitions like The Rockwood Festival of the Arts and Dance Manitoba. Dancers also compete in Open Platform competitions at  the regional, national and International level through digitally based Feiseanna through the Enchanted Feis Series.

Knowledge is Power

Access to education and mentorship is a key pillar of strength for Prairie North Dance. Our dancers are very lucky to take part in several in-person and virtual educational opportunities each year that positively impact  not only our physical dance practice, but our thoughts and attitudes about ourselves as whole human beings. This intentional focus on education, like our virtual mentorship practice with Colin Dunne (professional dancer and original choreographer and lead dancer of Riverdance), is what allows us to build dancers who can engage in the sport for their entire lives. Dance is for everyone.

Private Lessons Available

Looking for one-on-one coaching? Our instructors offer private lessons for dancers who want to improve their skills at their own pace.

Join Our Dance Family

At Prairie North Dance, we're more than just a dance studio. We're a community of dancers who support and encourage each other every step of the way.

MANDATORY OFF-SEASON FOR ALL PRAIRIE NORTH DANCERS FROM END OF MAY TO

END OF AUGUST *

All classes at Prairie North Dance are $26 + GST per class.  Cost for each session is determined by the number of classes in that session. For example, there are 11 classes total in the Fall session for the Beginner class, which would equal a total tuition cost of $286+GST for the session.

Families with more than one dancer registered in a given dance session will receive a 15% multi-student discount off total tuition for that session. As well, Prairie North Dance offers a multi-class discount. If a dancer registers for 2 classes in a session, they will receive 10% off the total tuition amount. If a dancer registers for 3 or more classes in a session, they will receive 15% off the total tuition amount.

There is a one-time $20 registration fee per family, per year (the year includes the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions) that will be added to your session payment at your initial registration. Example, if the registration fee is paid in the Fall session, it is not paid again when the student registers for the subsequent Winter or Spring session.
